Frequently asked questions

Semaglutide is our most popular weight loss medication and our most effective medical weight loss medication.  We have seen a 30+% reduction in total body weight with our patients. This is 2-3 times more effective than many other medications. Semaglutide is in a class of medications called GLP-1s. GLP-1s have been widely used for weight loss since 2005 and are generally very well tolerated, with minimal side effects.

At G2 we do not charge a monthly membership fee, visit fees, supply fees (alcohol swabs or syringes) or any other fees. The cost of our weight loss program is dependent on the customized weight loss plan developed. There is no recurring billing, and you can stop the program at any time. This can be discussed during your online consultation.

No, we do not work with insurances but will be happy to provide you with a superbill if your insurance will reimburse you for the medication. Most weight loss medications are not covered by insurance and even if they are our prices are often cheaper than the covered insurance price.

Yes, our medical weight loss program accepts FSA (flexible spending accounts) and HSA (health savings account). You don’t need to do anything special. We are a medical clinic and our services are covered with an HSA or FSA credit card.

This will be discussed in depth with your provider at the time of you initial consultation. They are familiar with medications and any possible interactions.
No, we do not provide pre-packaged meals. We will recommend a dietary plan but it does not involve purchasing pre-packaged meals. Just healthy foods that you can buy in any grocery store.
